Why Reserve Meds is trustworthy in Egypt

Egypt families considering specialty medicine import deserve to know who they are dealing with, what regulatory pathway we operate under, how your hospital fits in, and who reviews the medical content on this site. This page documents all four.

1. The regulator and the legal basis

In Egypt, Reserve Meds operates under the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) named-patient import framework. The specific legal basis is EDA named-patient and personal-use framework.

Every case we coordinate is filed by a Egypt-licensed treating physician at a Egypt-licensed dispensing facility. Reserve Meds is the coordination layer, not the prescriber, not the dispensing pharmacy, and not the regulator. We supply the documentation packet the regulator expects and the US-side sourcing under DSCSA chain-of-custody.

2. Your hospital and treating physician

Your treating doctor's hospital files the request with the regulator. Reserve Meds prepares the documents your doctor needs and coordinates delivery to the hospital pharmacy that receives the medicine.

3. US sourcing chain

Every medicine Reserve Meds coordinates is sourced through a US-licensed pharmaceutical wholesale partner operating under the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). Chain-of-custody is documented end-to-end from the FDA-approved manufacturer through to the EDA-registered dispensing facility in Egypt.

We do not source from grey-market or unverified channels. Where cold-chain is required, we use temperature-monitored packaging with continuous loggers and tamper-evident seals. Arrival temperature data is logged on every shipment.

See our public trust and compliance page for the full sourcing posture.

4. Medical attestation chain

The clinical and regulatory content on Reserve Meds is reviewed by the Reserve Meds clinical operations team. AI tools help us draft and check our work; they are not a medical or legal substitute, and a person on the team signs off each page.

Every named drug indication, dosing schedule, FDA approval status, and pathway description is fact-checked against the FDA label and the EDA published guidance at the time of last review. The reviewed-date stamp on each page is the most recent attestation date.
