What Dysport is, in plain language

Dysport is botulinum neurotoxin type A. It is administered by intramuscular injection at the affected muscle group, by a trained specialist physician, in a clinic setting. The injected toxin temporarily blocks the chemical signal that tells the muscle to contract.
