Is Lynozyfic available in Kuwait? How families get Lynozyfic (linvoseltamab-gcpt)

A plain answer for families in Kuwait, checked against FDA, manufacturer and regulator sources.

Reviewed by the Reserve Meds clinical operations team on 13 October 2026.

Is Lynozyfic available in Kuwait?

Lynozyfic (linvoseltamab-gcpt) is an FDA-approved BCMA x CD3 bispecific antibody for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma after at least four prior lines. As of 13 October 2026, we found no public record that Lynozyfic is registered by MOH in Kuwait. The legal route is a named-patient request: the treating hospital, on your specialist's request, asks the Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) for permission to import Lynozyfic for one patient, using the US FDA approval as the reference. Once approved, Reserve Meds arranges supply through a US-licensed pharmaceutical wholesale partner to the hospital pharmacy. We do not prescribe. We give you a written timeline estimate for your case before you commit.

What Lynozyfic is

Lynozyfic (linvoseltamab-gcpt) is made by Regeneron. The US FDA approved it on 2 July 2025 for adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least four prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody. It is given as an intravenous (IV) infusion, with step-up doses and a 24-hour hospital stay after the first two step-up doses, then weekly and later every two or four weeks.

The FDA gave accelerated approval. Continued approval may depend on a confirmatory trial. It has a boxed warning for cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurologic toxicity. In the US it is available only through a restricted safety program (REMS).

It is also approved in the European Union for adults after at least three prior therapies.

The legal route in Kuwait

In Kuwait, the Ministry of Health (MOH) controls which medicines are registered and imported.

Under Ministerial Resolution No. 100 of 2023, a non-registered medicine can be brought in when it is used to diagnose, treat or prevent disease, it is already registered with an overseas regulator such as the US FDA, and no alternative is available in Kuwait. The request is made through MOH and follows the rules of its registration and control department. Your treating hospital starts this process.

MOH has worked with manufacturers to bring in new specialty therapies before. For example, MOH, AAW and Roche announced the registration and introduction of the Duchenne gene therapy Elevidys in Kuwait in June 2024.

Ask your hospital pharmacy to confirm the current status with the Ministry of Health's drug registration and control department before anything is filed.

Who does what

  • Your treating specialist decides whether Lynozyfic is right for the patient and writes the letter and prescription.
  • The hospital files the request and is responsible for giving the medicine safely.
  • The Kuwait Ministry of Health (MOH) decides whether to approve an import of an unregistered medicine.
  • Regeneron makes Lynozyfic and decides where it can be supplied.
  • Reserve Meds coordinates the paperwork, the US supply through our wholesale partner, shipping and updates to your family. We do not give medical advice.

Documents the hospital will usually need

  • A letter from the treating specialist: diagnosis, past treatments, and why Lynozyfic is needed
  • A prescription with the dose and how long treatment should last
  • Supporting reports, such as pathology, genetic or laboratory results
  • The hospital's request form and its signed declaration of responsibility
  • Written consent from the patient or a legal guardian
  • Proof of the US FDA approval and the US prescribing information (we can supply these)

Timeline, step by step

  1. Doctor's letter. Your specialist writes the clinical letter and prescription.
  2. Hospital request. The hospital pharmacy files the named-patient request with MOH.
  3. Regulator decision. MOH reviews the request and issues an approval or asks for more information.
  4. US sourcing. Our US-licensed wholesale partner supplies the medicine, and it is shipped with the right temperature controls.
  5. Hospital receipt. The medicine is received at the hospital pharmacy, which gives it to the patient.

The overall time is our planning estimate, not a promise. The regulator and the manufacturer set their own timelines.
